TROJ_RANSOM.AAF
is a hazardous ransomware Trojan detected by Trend Micro that secretly enters into the vulnerable PC and scare user to perform malicious actions to compromise system security. Similar to TROJ_RANSOM.CXB, it adds corrupt audio file i.e. .mp3 file to corrupt PC and report users that your system is blocked due to certain violation of the Federal Law. What the, it blocks the desktop and whole PC and asked users to pay a ransom amount of USD200 in order to gain access to the compromised PC. Not only this, it blocks task manager, registry editor and other processes to exploit PC performance. More seriously, it also attempt to steal your personal information and send it to its creator for illegal uses. So, once detected, it is important to delete TROJ_RANSOM.AAF
